International Interest in ZED?

Our access to ZEDHEADS.org visitor stats have been limited until just recently. Although we launched this website in May of 2012, we did not migrate to the WordPress.com platform until March 20th of 2013. At the time we moved, we had recorded some 30,000 hits, but knew very little about their origin. Our hit counter started over at zero just 19 days ago, and so far we’ve had 262 visits.

Part of the reason we moved was to take advantage of the much better site stats reports that were available on WordPress. I thought it would be interesting to share the countries of origin for these 262 visits.

USA: 245
AUSTRALIA: 5
ITALY: 4
UNITED KINGDOM: 2
RUSSIAN FEDERATION: 2
CANADA: 1
ROMANIA: 1
GERMANY: 1
FINLAND: 1

Ok, so it may not be much to get excited about at this point – 17 views coming from 8 countries other than the United States…but that’s in just 19 days with no real effort to promote ourself in these locations. I find it compelling, and it’s got the promotional wheels spinning in my head!

From time to time I’ll post updates here, for those who share my interest and curiosity.
